What to do at Sun City
Sun City is South Africa’s premier vacation resort, offering visitors the choice of over one hundred thrilling activities. The resort is located within the Pilanesberg National Park’s southern border and is just 170 km from Johannesburg and close to the Pilanesberg Airport. Two casinos, the Jungle Casino in the Entertainment Centre, with over 250 slot machines, and the Sun City Hotel Casino with over 300 slots, black jack, American roulette, poker, and punto banco. Golf
The Gary Player Golf Course is arguably the most famous course in South Africa. and is acknowledged as a difficult and demanding course. Since 1981 it has been home to the Nedbank Million Dollar Golf Challenge
Situated over the hill from the Gary Player Country Club, the Lost City Golf Course has wide fairways and large undulating greens it is a great golf experience for golfers of all standards. The Lost City golf course covers more than 100 hectares and incorporates 28 000 square metres of water features.
Watersports
Waterworld offers jetskiing, parasailing, waterskiing, tube rides, water snake, bumperboats and water cruises.
The Valley of Waves
The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon, a 6 500-square metre wave pool. The water park offers water slides. tube rides, body slides and the wave pool, surrounded by palm trees.

There are over 50 restaurants, bars and fast food outlets at Sun City, with something to suit every palate.
Entertainment Centre
The Sun City Entertainment Centre is home to a wide range of entertainment for adults and kids, including cinemas, theatres and shops, a kiddies games arcade, bingo, activity games, several fast food outlets and restaurants and the Superbowl which boasts performances by world famous artists and such events as Miss World.
The Adventure Centre
The Adventure Centre, offers Quad Bikes, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Survivor / Camel Quad Adventure Trophy, Urban Combat Paintball and Fire-Walking.

Pilanesberg National Park
The Pilanesberg National Park hosts the Big 5 - lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant – and just about every mammal of southern Africa Pilanesberg is South Africa’s fourth largest park, a melting pot of topographies including include koppies, forested ravines, bush veld and rolling grasslands and lightly wooded areas, all contained in the crater of an extinct volcano that covers 55,000 hectares. The park is home to over 300 species of birds
